Qualifications:
In order for your loved one to qualify for Project Lifesaver, they must meet the three requirements below.
No Access to Vehicles
Project Lifesaver's tracking abilities cannot locate your loved one if they are in a moving vehicle. If you're looking for help on ways to have this conversation with your loved one, check out the article below.
Cannot Live Alone
Your loved one must not live by themselves. This ensures that your loved one is being monitored and their battery can be checked regularly.
24/7 Supervision
Project Lifesaver is lifesaving technology and should be utilized in case of emergencies only.
HOW IT WORKS: CALL 911
Eligible clients will wear a small transmitter on the wrist or ankle that emits an individualized frequency signal. If an enrolled client goes missing, the caregiver notifies their local Project Lifesaver agency, and a trained emergency team responds to the wanderer's area. The first responders will then use the client's individualized frequency to triangulate the position of the individual, in an effort to locate them & return them home safely.
